Creating your Testimony book will transform your life in 2021

As we journey through life, there is a lot of life lessons you have learned, goals you have achieved, goals you had not achieved. In every life experience, seek to find the treasures or nuggets of wisdom that you have learned. Do you have your personal book of testimony? Your personal book of testimony provides an opportunity for you to document your accomplishments, answered prayers, life lessons learned, or any nugget of wisdom you encounter throughout your life.

As your goals evolve, you may ponder if you have what it takes to make them a reality. When faced with this question, you can review your Testimony book which contains all the goals you have achieved in the past. And for many of those goals perhaps, you had the same question before the completion of the goal. You can pull motivation and encourage yourself knowing that if you were able to achieve those goals in the past, you can definitely achieve your current goals. Your book of Testimony allows you to replay your past successes and document your current accomplishments as you become a better version of yourself each year. For example, one of the goals I had in 2016 was to accumulate $6,000.00 over the summer break to finance my college tuition. Now looking back at my 2019 goals, one goal was to save for a house down-payment. This example demonstrates that as the seasons of our life change so do your goals and documenting them allows you to see how you have evolved over the years.

A lesson learned in the past can provide insight and knowledge for your current goals. An example where past lessons learned aid my decision-making was when I had a goal to create an e-book. There were many lessons learned about the importance of having a good marketing strategy and many other lessons that were documented in my book of Testimony. Approximately four years later one of my goals was to sell digital products, a thorough review of the lesson learned, and tips were very helpful. The knowledge gained helps to customize the marketing plan and provide insight into the implementation and execution of that goal.

We all have lessons and wisdom that we can share documenting them allows you to review them and share them with whomever you decide. Don’t die with all the wisdom you have learned throughout your life experiences. Preserve the wisdom by documenting it for future generations, leave it as a part of your legacy. As always, you are a blessing to this generation and whatever you commit to, you have what it takes to make it a reality. It’s never too late to start your book of Testimony. Remember, no matter what happens in life you should never stop believing in yourself.
